If you broke up with somebody, you broke up for a purpose. Don’t try to re-kindle something did not work out in the past.  It didn’t work out for a reason. Sometimes people come in and out of our lives for an objective, a lesson to be learned. It can be a long lesson like marriage or a short one like a boyfriend. Whatever reasons you broke up with that person for are going to bubble again in a second attempt. Save both yourselves the trouble and move on.

It’s hard after you’ve spent time apart because you forget the entire “thing” that drove you crazy when you were together. They start to fade away along with the memories. Then you run into them at a bar our out with friends a few years later, strike up conversation and think to yourself, “Why did we break up again?”

People are in our lives for a purpose and people leave our lives for a purpose. If you force the issue the result is usually not enjoyable. Events in life should happen organically. If you’re pushing or pulling too hard to get back together with someone, then it’s the universes way of saying stop, this is not what’s meant for you. Take a step back, breathe deeply, and be patient. Whatever is meant for you will happen in due time.

Remember, the more time you spend with Mr. / Mrs. Past it leaves you less time to find Mr. / Mrs. Perfect For You. You deserve to be with someone that’s going to give you a loving lasting relationship. There are over 6 billion some people on the planet. I’m sure you can find someone better than your ex.
