Within the internet dating jungle, sometimes you find someone worth hiding your profile for a while to see where the relationship develops. It may last a week, a month or a year. Then you discover that this person just isn’t the one for you. It’s time to put your profile back up and start from square one.

When you go back onto dating sites it’s important that you update your profile. Even if it has only been a couple of months, things have changed. Hopefully you have learned from the last relationship so you can better understand what it is you are looking for. Nothing is ever lost from an experience.

You should always update your photos while changing your written profile. Granted you have probably not gained or lost a ton of weight or drastically altered your hairdo, but fresh pictures are important for a few reasons. For one, having them up-to-date as possibly means you are truly representing yourself. You may think you think look same as you did last summer, but others may beg to differ. Also, when reactivating your profile if you post new photos you will attract new people to your page. If you always have the same photos people will just pass you by if they have read your profile once before. Rotate your photos and you will generate new interest. Remember to always have at least one close up facial photo and one full length body pose. Wear appropriate clothing too please. If you post a boob shot, or a slutty dress don’t be shocked by emails from guys only interested in one night stands.
