When you are going out on first dates, pay attention to the energy the other person is projecting and how it matches your energy. Are you an energetic, on the go all the time, fast talker, type A sort of person? Or are you more relaxed, not much bothers you, go with the flow kind of guy? Knowing your energy will help you find a partner that will match you.

For instance, two type A people are going to butt heads in the same room. Neither one is going to get a word in edge wise and the combination of their energy is going to explode. Just imagine if the Tasmanian Devil had a twin. That much energy doubling in size is going to rip through a small town like a tornado. Not a good combo especially if you also have a short fuse. You need someone that will calm your energy down a bit. Make you feel more relaxed and at ease. So when you’re talking a thousand miles a minute, your partner sits there quietly and listens to you. When you blow up about a situation they give you a hug and just say I understand.

For the more relaxed type energy you need someone that has a little spark to them. If you had two very laid back people in a relationship, nothing would probably get done. When’s the mortgage due? I dunno, it’ll get paid sometime, no big deal! Does the car need it’s oil changed? It’ll be fine if we put another 3,000 miles on it I’m sure! That type of energy needs someone that’s going to keep them on their toes and more alert. Give them a little peep, a little boost!

Within energy, opposites do attract. Just like magnets. You place a positively charged end with another positively charged end and they will automatically push themselves away. Hold a negatively charged end with a positively charged one and they pull themselves together locking in place forever.
